I know how hard it is to keep consistent in exercise.  I mean, its supposed to be a routine, right?  Although I love to be active and have included Pilates, yoga, running, biking, swimming, weight training, resistance, dance... you name it, in my plans to stay on a calendar of regular workouts, I always seem to trail off after a bit.  Thinking about it, the biggest problem is time.  I love the sweating, the physical exertion, the satisfaction of pushing myself, but taking an hour or even two if you go to a gym, out of my day is too much.

So the concept of Curves makes sense.  Curves provides you with a complete cardio and strength training workout in just 30 minutes. With a system that can burn up to 500 calories and work every major muscle group, you get an efficient and effective workout every visit.  It’s no wonder over 4 million women have chosen Curves to meet their health goals.  Curves is the #1 fitness center in the world!

The circuit is made up of resistance machines that work every major muscle group, two muscles at a time.

And with a circuit coach to teach and motivate, you’re sure to reach your fitness goals in no time. Whether you want to lose weight and inches, gain energy or tone up, the Curves circuit will work for you.

In Stoughton, your coach will be Autumn Wheeler, who bought the Stoughton Curves November 20th, 2009 and will be celebrating the club’s 1st Anniversary under her guidance!  Autumn is a fun, energetic, professional woman whose background is in marketing, fundraising and management before she became a certified fitness coach.  Autumn and her staff of four part time gals, have grown Stoughton Curves over 50% in their first year and are still welcoming new clients every day!

Autumn shares her love of helping other women feel great about themselves.  She knows all of her clients by name, and runs her business like everyone is family.  She counsels and coaches in both fitness and weight management, both based in the extensive research that is continually progressing at Curves.  With a 30 minute workout 3 times a week and the science based, practical eating guidelines, the goal is for clients to look and feel better quickly.

The benefits of an all women environment are obvious.  You can concentrate on your workout, not have to be all that concerned about looking great and hang out with a terrific gang of gals.  All ages of women are members in Stoughton and with the broad hours: Monday through Thursday from 5am - 7pm, Friday 5am -5pm and Saturdays 6:30am - 10:30am, it fits into anyone’s schedule.

Curves also has a great line of work out clothing and ‘on the go’ food products, which are available in Stoughton.

Autumn had just returned from the Curves convention when we met and she couldn’t contain herself with all the great announcements.  One of the areas Curves felt it needed to add was a stronger aerobics component to the workout... and it is coming very, very soon.  If you love spicy dancin’, you have to ask Autumn what is coming to the Stoughton club!  Makes me wish I lived closer, so I could join.  If you want to learn more, go to www.curves.com

Autumn, and her husband and business partner Ronie, are having a great time getting to know their clients and making a difference for so many.  So ladies ... come in and get strong together!
